Illustrated pilgrimage scroll
This scroll illustrates the Shi‘i pilgrimage from Mecca to Mashhad. The images are accompanied by verses describing different stages of the journey and the related rites. It was lithographed in six sections and glued to a fabric (probably cotton) backing. The scroll, which was commissioned by Muhammad Ja‘far Kasa’i, a cloth merchant from Karbalaʼ, was acquired in Kirman in ca. 1971 and is now in a private collection in Kailua, Hawaii.

Letter of greetings from Muhammad about some family news, including his child's typhoid fever. Also, reporting on the purchase of some medicine in Mashhad for the addressee, that some medicines are hard to find due to the difficulty of trade with Russia, and that he is sending some different samples. He also talks about purchasing of some textiles and women clothing.

Usurpation of Khanum Sardar's property
Petition by Muhammad Yusuf Khan from Harat to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Government of Khurasan and Jalal al-Sultan, who has confiscated the property of Khanum Sardar in Himmat Abad and requests money in order to return the property. Since Khanum Sardar had transferred the property to Muhammad Yusuf Khan, he is asked to provide the money. Muhammad Yusuf Khan has been informed that due to his delay in the payment, the property has been sold off by Khanum Sardar's attorney. He deems this transaction unlawful and asks for justice.
