Daughter of Muhtasham al-Dawlah complains about her father's inattention, comparing herself to Muhtasham al-Dawlah's daughter from his [temporary] wife from Hamadan and expressing that she is upset about living at the home Zahir al-Mulk. She writes that if the situation does not change, she will have no choice but to work in Farmanfarma's hospital.

Taj al-Muluk Farmanfarma’iyan writes to her mother, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, telling her about arriving in Berlin and visiting her father in the hospital. She describes her father's health and the way he introduced her to the nurse: "Vous connaissez ma fille, elle est la plus blanche dans Berlin" [You know my daughter, she is the whitest person in Berlin].

Muhammad Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, the brother of ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, writes to his sister-in-law, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, from Berlin and tells her that Taji [Taj al-Muluk] and Safiyah [his wife] and the children have arrived safely in Berlin and thanks her for sending Taji off, that she is very helpful and her arrival has made Salar Lashkar very happy. Letter to ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma
After different tests and seeing several doctors, it has been determined that Nasr al-Dawlah's illness is mental. The doctors' diagnosis are to keep him in psychiatric care for a period of time; if Nasr al-Dawlah is not hospitalized, he may attempt to commit suicide or murder others. Two conditions are required in French law to accept someone into psychiatric care: one is a doctor's diagnosis and the other is permission from a family member of the patient and a description of the difficulties.

Stipend of the servants and nurses of the holy hospital, 12 April to 10 May 1910
The guardians of Astan received 27 tumans for the stipend of the servants and nurses of the holy hospital for the month of Rabiʻ al-Sani 1328 AH [12 April to 10 May 1910]. This was divided among 16 people as follows: 10 tumans and 8500 dinars for the male nurses; two tumans for Aqa Sayyid Hasan the nurse, two tumans for Mashhadi ʻAli Akbar, two tumans for Karbalayi Muhammad ʻAli, two tumans for Karbalayi Mirza, one tuman, and 8500 dinars for Karbalayi Asad Allah (for 26 days), and one tuman (for 15 days) for Karbalayi Kazim; 16 tumans for ten people; and 10 tumans the rest of the servants....

Muhammad Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, the younger brother of ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, writes to his sister-in-law, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, from the hospital in Berlin. He mentions that he is writing on Salar Lashkar's behalf, as his weakness does not allow him to write himself. He describes Salar Lashkar's treatment and tells her that he is improving and there is no need to worry.
