Travel journal
ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani's travel journal. ʻAlaviyah Khanum, ʻAli Khan and a few others went on Hajj and made pilgrimages to the shrines in Iraq. On the way back to Iran, she visited a number of cities including Tehran and the Nasiri Court. This travel journal was written by ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani. On the first page of the book (this page was written by ʻAli Khan at the request of ʻAlaviyah Khanum), ʻAlaviyah Khanum noted that she wrote this book because she missed her husband and also to record these events in history. The author's actual name is not known and "ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani"...

Right to left (standing): Maryam, Sughra (mother of Dr. Ziyaʼ Manuchihri), and Sultan (mother of Dr. Arastu Safayi, grandmother of Parvin Tabibzadah); (seated): mother, father and brother of Maryam, Sughra and Sultan. The brother later became known as Haji Binyamin Asil Mazandarani, a famous merchant. He is the grandfather of Ibrahim Asil, editor of the magazine Kurush-i Buzurg.

Petition of a woman to Amin al-Sultan
A petition, to Amin al-Sultan, written by a woman who was converted to Islam from Judaism by the Friday prayer-leader four years ago. She was forced to marry and now her husband has fled his creditors and left her with their young children wandering in Tehran. She has taken refuge in Amin al-Sultan's house in hope for some help in the cold weather.
