Shaykh al-Islam's house
Three photographs and three drawings of the Shaykh al-Islam House in Qazvin. The three photos--of the Biruni taken from the street, the Divan-khanah taken from the yard, and the Andaruni taken from the yard--were digitized from prints made of old negatives. Jaleh Jalili drew the house plan, based on sketches provided by Bahram Sheikholeslami, on the basis of his childhood memories of growing up in this complex. Silver tray
Tray used for holding salt, pepper, and gulpar; belonged to Manizhah Safdari Qajar, daughter of Safdar Mirza ‘Ata’ al-Saltanah, wife of Sayyid ʻAbd Allah Shaykh al-Islami (Amjad al-Vizarah). Passed down to her daughter, Azar Shaykh al-Islami, who then passed it down to her nephew, Bahram Sheikholeslami.

Created by Afsar al-Muluk Shaykh al-Islami, daughter of Nimtaj (Taj al-Sadat) Shaykh al-Islami and Mirza Mufid Shaykh al-Islam (Dibaj), and wife of Sayyid ʻAli Shaykh al-Islami.
