Marriage contract of the oldest daughter of Karbalayi Muhammad ʻAli [son of] Ustad Ibrahim and Salar ʻAli, the son of Nazar ʻAli, with a mahr of: some pieces of land, 20 tumans for buying a house, five mans of copper worth four tumans, four tumans' worth of clothes to be bought, 10 mans of carpets worth five tumans, a set of bedding worth two tumans and 5000 [dinars], and two tumans and 5000 [dinars] in cash. The mentioned land were rented by Karbalayi Muhammad and Qanbar ʻAli, brothers of the groom. On verso, the name of bride's father is written as Karbalayi Muhammad ʻAli Chah Ju

Marriage contract between the daughter of Karbalayi ʻAbidin [her name is not mentioned] [son of] Ustad Rajabʻali and Mulla ʻAli, the son of Ustad ʻAbd Allah [son of] Ustad ʻAli Asghar, on January 19, 1900. The mahr includes some pieces of land, copper, carpets, clothings, a set of bedding, and a house to be purchased later.

Marriage contract of Hajar Khanum and Ghulam Riza Khan, 1905
Marriage contract of Hajar Khanum, the daughter of Muʻtamad al-Sultan Aqa Ghulam Riza Khan, and Aqa Ghulam Riza Khan, the son of Haji Aqa Muhammad Khan Amin al-Raʻaya. The mahr was twenty mans [unit of agricultural land] of a property and the use of water from a qanat, some pieces of land, as well as some rugs, copperware, bedding, and gold worth six hundred tumans in total. On verso, it is noted that Hajar Khanum transferred the money to Aqa Mirza ʻAli Aqa, the son of Haji Muhammad Riza to use as he sees fit on September 9, 1927.

The writer [probably female] talks about the items they received from the addressee: two shawls, for which she mocks the addressee's taste, a silk duvet, and silk handkerchieves, which she handed out to others according to the addressee's wishes, although there were not enough of them. She also discusses receiving attire from Muhammad, son of Aqa Isma‘il. She says that she is disappointed in how the German silverware had been divided and has put aside one of Surur Khanum's seven trays for herself; mentions that the china dishes are too small; and, at the end, sends greetings on behalf of...

Marriage contract of Shahrbanu and Ibrahim, 1900
Marriage contract of Shahrbanu, daughter of Karbalayi Yar Murad from Kahriz, and Ibrahim, son of Muhammad from Bahmanabad. The mahr is forty tumans, of which half was paid and the rest remains the groom's debt. The mahr additionally includes one-twelfth of the garden of the groom's father, a set of bedding made in Burujird worth three tumans, and a copper ewer and basin made in Kashan worth one tuman and five thousand dinars. On February, 13, 1903, Shahrbanu transferred the ownership of the mentioned properties to her father, and her father settled them with Sayf al-Dawlah for five tumans.

Letter from ‘Abd al-Husayn
Letter with ‘Abd al-Husayn's seal on verso; advising the addressee to write more often and in more detail, while keeping things confidential; mentions the addressee's request for bedding from the mother and asks for more patience until they can afford it; discusses the purchase of three kharvars [unit of weight] and sixty mans [unit of weight] wheat from Qaranquran village, sending ten mans of cheese for the house, and receiving Nur Muhammad Sultan's thirty tumans; advises the addressee on taking care of the household and the children, and not letting anyone get out of the house.
