Letter from Mahd-i ‘Ulya to Nasir al-Din Shah, 1867
Mahd-i ‘Ulya writes about receiving news of the conquests and describes her dream: while she and the late Baha’ al-Dawlah's wife and Bahram Mirza's wife were saying prayers at Imam Riza's shrine, Nasir al-Din Shah enters and starts his prayer. At this time, the Imam comes out of the shrine with a green turban and puts his hands on the Shah's forehead which has fallen on the Imam's feet, commends him for his efforts and promises to fulfill his wishes.
