Documents related to Sakinah Khanum's claim against Afrasiyab Khan, 1915 to 1916
Regarding a claim by Sakinah Khanum, wife of Shaykh Muhammad ‘Ali from Sabzivar, against Afrasiyab Khan (Alexander), son of Comte de Monte Fort, over two white horses. She presents an affidavit and a settlement in which her daughter, Kawkab Khanum, has transferred ownership of the two horses to her along with their accessories and a carriage. Haji Riza Gari-chi (coachman) from Shiraz, son of Rustam Khan, had transferred the mentioned items to his wife, Kawkab Khanum, for her mahr of one hundred fifty tumans. Love letters of ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash), son of Karim Dad Khan, to Surur al-Saltanah, daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk, accompanied by some envelopes and part of a letter, probably from Surur al-Saltanah to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk. These letters were most likely written during the time between their ‘Aqd (formal contract of marriage) and ‘Arusi (marriage celebration and consummation), while Surur al-Saltanah was living in Tehran and Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk was traveling between Tehran and Khurasan; the letters have also been separately included in this collection;...

Will of Husayn Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah, 1908
Will of Husayn Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah. He divides his properties into two parts: one half goes to his grandchildren from Mirza Husayn Khan, Ghulam Husayn and his sister Fatimah Sultan Khanum and the other half to his daughter, Batul (Fakhr al-Saltanah), and her mother. He endowed some of his properties to be used for hospitals, roads, and the education of orphans. Burhan al-Dawlah and the mother of Batul are the administrators of his will.

It begins with quotations from Baha’ Allah and ‘Abd al-Baha’, and includes the importance of the meeting between Tayirah Khanum, Mr. Charles Mason Remey, and Mr. Sydney on uniting west and east under the Baha'i faith; at the end of their talk, they told Tayirah Khanum about American women, and Tayirah Khanum took off her pearl necklace and handed it to Mr. Remey to give it to the American women. This pearl necklace was given to Tayirah Khanum by Malakah Iran, sister of Muzaffar al-Din Shah. It also includes a list of Baha’i women who hold meetings in different cities in Iran.
