Correspondence between Surur al-Saltanah (daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk and wife of ‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash) and her son, Amir Hushang Taymurtash: 1- Surur al-Saltanah writes to Hushang in London from Berlin, and, among other things, discusses the problems with finding a place for Hushang to stay during the break. She mentions how busy Papa (Taymurtash) is with the negotiations about the oil treaty (December 17, 1932); 2- Surur al-Saltanah's letter to Hushang, sending greetings to Mr. Nuri and Dr. Young, and thanking her son for his Sunday prayer for his parents....

Correspondence of Surur al-Saltanah and ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash): on the first page, Surur al-Saltanah writes to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk complaining about not getting a letter from him and explains her good intentions regarding her previous remarks. On the second page, Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk expresses his happiness on receiving a letter from her, mentions that he had been miserable when Surur had stopped writing to him, and he is so happy now that he is writing this letter while in bed with a fever and will send it with one of the orderlies in the morning.

Letter from ‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash
‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash (Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk)'s letter regarding the money he sent (two hundred and fifty lira) to be used for the travel expenses of Surur al-Saltanah (his wife) and his not having heard about her travel date despite getting the receipt. He mentions how difficult it is to send money and asks the reader to figure out when Surur al-Saltanah is leaving.

Marriage Contract of Surur al-Saltanah and Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk, 1909
Marriage Contract of Sughra Khanum Surur al-Saltanah, daughter of Khazin al-Mulk, and ‘Abd al-Husayn Khan Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk, son of Karim Dad Khan Salar. Mahr is a copy of the Qurʼan (valued at 100 tumans), a female slave (value of 70 tumans), and one thousand and five hundred tumans cash (that was presented), as well as some properties including the related water creeks, trees, and gardens in exchange for three thousand and five hundred tumans. The above was first deeded to the groom by his father and then, the groom included it in the Mahr for his wife.
