Perhaps a gift to a bride and groom named Maryam and Riza Quli Khan Ghaffari; there is a carved inscription on the back of this bowl, inside the pomegranate shape: "Riza Quli Khan" and outside of it: "Ghaffari." The upside down writing: "Maryam"

Settlement between Malak Khanum Ghaffari from Kashan, daughter of the late ‘Ali Akbar Urusi-duz [the shoe maker] from Kashan, and Riza Quli Khan Ghaffari, son of Mirza Fazl Allah Ghaffari, over some shares of water of a qanat and parts of an orchard in Kalah village of Kashan for two hundred rials.

Settlement between Riza Quli Khan and his mother, 1893
The second wife of Mirza Fazl Allah Khan [Agha Baygum Khanum] transfers the ownership of all her belongings (including whatever she owns until her death) to her son, Riza Quli Khan, in exchange for one hundred dinars. The condition is that Riza Quli Khan will be responsible for the food and clothing expenses of his mother as long as she lives. Moreover, after her death, he shall spend fifty tumans of his own money for the funeral expenses. A male slave, named Qanbar, and a female slave, named Tuti, are included in this settlement. Settlement between Marziyah Khanum and Maryam Khanum, 1896
Settlement between Mirza Muhammad Hasan, the bookkeeper at Kashan's telegraph house, with the power of attorney from Marziyah Khanum, daughter of Haji Mirza Mahmud, and Riza Quli Khan Ghaffari from Kashan, resident of Kalah village, who has the power of attorney from his wife, Maryam, daughter of ‘Abd Allah Khan Ghaffari from Kashan. Some share of a qanat and an orchard near and in Kalah village have been exchanged with some shares of a bakery shop in Kashan. The detriment fees for both parties has been determined.
